Live Orgnism
Multimedia Installation, video performance, sound
2012
Live Organism is a video installation composed of ten looped videos, presented individually or as a site-specific constellation within the space. Each video depicts a repetitive action performed by either a human body or a machine, drawing parallels between organic and mechanical systems, movement, rhythm, and repetition. When installed together, the screens form a circle around the viewer, appearing to “look” and “speak” to one another. Standing at the center, the viewer is immersed in a shifting environment of moving images and overlapping sounds, as the individual works come together to form a single living organism.
